is being held on Saturday, March 20th, from 10:00 a.m. to
3:00 p.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 305 Laurentian, Kitchener.
Pre-registration is required. Registration fee is $10.00, this can be
paid on the day of retreat. Please bring a bagged lunch, and your bible.

SHARE LENT –
WEEKEND of March 20/21
The annual SHARE LENT collection for Development and Peace OR the St.
Joseph Health System International Outreach Program will be taken up
March 20/21.
Our offering to this collection
should be a genuine sacrifice.
SUGGESTION:
in spirit adopt one hungry family
for the 40 days of Lent.
Set aside one dollar per day to feed them.
The suggested minimum offering to the
SHARE LENT collection
from every person with full time employment is $40.00.
As stated in Bishop Tonnos’ Lenten Pastoral Letter for 2010, you have
the option to have your Share Lent donation go to Development & Peace or
to St. Joseph Health System International Outreach Program. Envelopes
for the St. Joseph Health System will be made available or you may
indicate it on the envelope included with your box of envelopes.
CATHOLIC
WOMEN’S LEAGUE is
getting back to Basics in 2010. Do you ever wonder what goes on at
Regional meetings, or about the decisions behind all the events? We will
be bringing you up to date on relevant business and letting you know
what is going on with the Catholic Women’s League. This will be done at
the beginning of meetings, starting in March. Keeping you in touch-hope
to see you there on Tuesday, March 9. at 7:00 p.m. in the Parish Centre.

- What's Your Type? Learn your blood type and what your type could mean
to you and others. Canadian Blood Services will explain the need for
your precious donation and people who have been touched by the gift of
blood will share their personal stories at the CWL Meeting on March 9.

MOTHER DAUGHTER TEA:
Join
us for our Mother Daughter Tea on March 28th immediately after 11:30
Mass. Doors open at 12:30, tea served at 1:00. Cost is$5.00/family up to
3 people and $2/additional person.) Payment is accepted at the door
only. We will have 50/50 draw, door prizes and raffle draws. Hope to see
you all there. This is open for all
Mother Daughter teams, not only members.
So we know how much food to prepare, please put your
name in the ballot in the display at the back. Do not

TRAVELLING CROSS:
The Catholic Women’s
League is sponsoring a Travelling Cross for Vocations. The purpose is
dedication of daily prayer for vocations. A family will sign the cross
out for a week at a time. Sign up sheets are at the back of the church.
Stations of the Cross Special Liturgy
The Youth Group of our Parish will be presenting a
dramatic liturgy of the Stations of the Cross on
Friday March 19th, 2010 at 7:00 p.m.
We invite you to join us as we meditate on the mysteries of our Lord's
Passion and Death through drama, song and prayer!
Mustard Seeds Youth Rally
All Youth Group members (Junior AND Senior) are
invited to attend the Mustard Seeds Youth Rally held at St. Louis Church

DIOCESAN WEDDING ANNIVERSARY MASS
Are
you celebrating your 25th, 40th, 50th,
60th, or 60+ Wedding Anniversary in the year 2010? If you
are, you are cordially invited to join couples from across the Diocese
of Hamilton for one of two Wedding Anniversary Masses. Please choose
either Sunday, April 11 at Church of Our Lady Parish in Guelph OR
Sunday, April 18 at the Cathedral of Christ the King in Hamilton. Both
Masses will begin at 2:00 p.m. (Space allows room for Anniversary
couples only - those married 60 years or more are allowed 1 other
person). Please refer to the poster at the entrance
(St. Vincent de Paul Statue side)
of the church for information on how to register.

2009 INCOME TAX
RECEIPTS: For
those who used envelopes in 2009, your receipts are available for
pickup in the lobby. Also, those who contributed to St. Vincent De
Paul your receipt is in alphabetical order as well. When you receive
your envelope, it will contain your official income tax receipt and
a copy for your records. If anyone requires a summary, you may call
the office and a copy will be printed for you. Please file your
receipt with the other documents necessary for preparing your income
tax.
Inner
healing ministry teams are available for prayer ministry. Are you in
need of special prayers, whether for physical, emotional, psychological,
or spiritual healing? Anyone is welcome to come for prayer. Trinity
Prayer Ministry will provide opportunities for the ministry of
healing through prayer to take place within a Catholic Church
environment. Location is Blessed Sacrament Church, Kitchener. For

CWL MASS,
Women of Peace and
Hope, special Mass will be held April 23. The Mass will be aired on
April 23, at 8:00 a.m. and 12 noon. It will be TAPED on April 22nd at
5:10 PM. at St. Basil's, Church, 50 St. Joseph St (off Bay, south of
Bloor). All CWL members are welcome to go to the taping. National would
love to have CWL members there and on TV and participate in the Mass.
