Several of our Catechumens in our Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (R.C.I.A) program were formally enrolled in the Rite of Election this 5th of March at the Church of Our Lady Immaculate in Guelph Ontario. Our Catechumens were led in prayer by Bishop Daniel Miehm. After the Bishop asked some questions of the Catechumens and their sponsors, the Catechumens became members of the elect and they wrote their names in the Book of the Elect. The people were pleased to hear Bishop Miehm say: “I declare you to be members of the elect, to be initiated into the sacred mysteries at the next Easter Vigil.” A happy day for all!
